JTech Guard - End User License Agreement
Last updated: 2026-07-10This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and JTech (Amzom Ltd) ("we", "us"). By installing or using JTech Guard ("the Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, according to the edition you have activated (Free, Pro, Premium, or Business). A Business license may permit use on multiple devices as described at purchase.
2. Trial
The Software may be used free for a 7-day trial with Premium features. After the trial, paid features require a valid activation key. The trial is offered once per device.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- (a) resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the Software or activation keys;
- (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code except where permitted by law;
- (c) remove or alter any proprietary notices; or
- (d) use the Software to harm other people's systems or data.
4. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Software.
5. Privacy
The Software is local-first and does not send your data to us by default. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. JTech Guard reduces the risk of app-caused slowdowns and freezes but cannot prevent every freeze, and is not antivirus or malware protection. You are responsible for backups and for reviewing actions before applying them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Termination
This license ends if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using the Software.
9. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
